Broken Remote

Broken Remote is a reaction game built around a TV remote that never stays the same twice. Every round the buttons shuffle to new positions, a call-out tells you which one to hit, and it's a race to find and tap the right button before anyone else.

How to Play Broken Remote

  1. Create a lobby with 3 to 6 players and start an Online Play game.
  2. Each round, everyone's remote buttons shuffle into new positions on screen.
  3. A prompt calls out which button needs to be pressed.
  4. Players race to spot the right button on their own shuffled layout and tap it first.
  5. The slowest player (or anyone who hits the wrong button) takes the round's forfeit.

Broken Remote FAQ

Why do the buttons keep moving?

That's the whole point — the shuffle means muscle memory doesn't help, so every round comes down to actually reading the remote under pressure.

How many players does Broken Remote need?

It's built for 3 to 6 players; the more people racing for the same button, the more chaotic it gets.

Is Broken Remote skill-based or luck-based?

It's mostly reaction speed and focus — skill matters, but the constant shuffling keeps it fair for everyone.
